Coffee here is always fabulous. Service is very friendly, the staff know their regulars by name almost anticipate their orders. Meals are well priced and tasty. Highlight is the calamari, always good. The specials board often has some great menu additions. Preprepared meals are...ready in the Bain-Marie to takeaway, my only concern with these is that they could sometimes do with more seasoning.

Checked this again today, and the service is still good. I like a place with magazines and daily papers out for people to read, and they're still here, Menu is good cafe stuff and a good range. I was in a hurry so had a...toasted sandwich and a soft drink. After you order, they bring it to you, and first came the soft drink, and a glass of ice, lemon slice and a straw, plus a bottle of cold water. Toasted sandwich arrived after ten minutes and they apologised for the delay! Nice tasty sandwich too, good ingredients and hot. This a reliable cafe with a real emphasis on service.

Food quality is good, presentation is excellent, service is prompt and friendly. We had a classic burger, Greek salad, fries, a chicken shish taouk special and a fresh juice. $57 total. Chairs are uncomfortable, tables too low and/or seat to high. This is a great...place for a quick lunch.

This place is the place to go to for breakfast. It's hidden in amongst the Canberra high rise buildings on Farrell st. very tidy and the eggs Benedict are cooked to perfection. Table water is supplied as is free local news papers to read whilst...you wait. Overall cafe alibi is right up there with the best for an early morning feed.
