Bidrage med feedbackChicken fried rice with salty fish sarawak noodles<br/ <br/ Place smells like armpits when you just walk in. No ambience however the food itself is reasonably priced pretty tasty. A million times better than Papa rich taste variety-wise. I do recommend this place!
We had the fish head curry, bi huong goreng, spicy pipis and belacan kang kong. Food was really good! Portions were big so be prepared.<br/ <br/ If you want service attention don't be afraid to flag someone down, you'll need to do it when you're ready to order etc... Don't expect them to come to keep asking you.<br/ <br/ Place is very busy all week and for good reason, I highly recommend coming in with more people, you'll have a great time sharing big dishes together.
Good quality Malaysian food at an affordable price and also good service. We ordered the Mongolian style spare pork ribs, garlic kang kong, curry chicken nasi lemak and also sago dessert. Will definitely be back.
I have been to this restaurant a few times and have tried a variety of Malaysian dishes, all of which were done very well. In my opinion, the food here is better than Albee's, which is located on the other side of Campsie. The prices are affordable for the quality of food you receive, making it a great value. Some of my favorite dishes include cereal king prawns, hor fun, fish head noodle soup, hainanese chicken, salt and pepper squid, sweet and sour pork, and various sambal vegetable dishes. While it may not be the best Malaysian food you've ever had, it is a nice casual spot for some delicious food.
I went to this restaurant for lunch on Saturday. We arrived just before noon, so the restaurant wasn't very busy and we were served quickly. We ordered wa tan hor, Hokkien fried noodles, and iced Milo. Both dishes were delicious and reminiscent of the ones I used to have in Malaysia. However, I thought the Hokkien noodles were a bit too runny for my liking. I prefer them to be stickier and with more black sauce. The noodles contained chicken, fish cakes, squid, and vegetables, but no prawns despite there being prawns in the photos on the wall. The prices were cheap and the portions were decent compared to other restaurants. I would definitely come back to try out other dishes on the menu.
