Il Postiglione - CAMPAGNANO DI ROMA

We had two astounding dinners at this hotel restaurant. The setting is quite elegant and the service was first rate. I lost count of the courses as more platters of beautifully prepared and tasty foods poured out of the kitchen. There was Prosciutto, mozzarella di bufala, stuffed breads, pastas, grilled and fried vegetables, and plates of amazing grilled pork, bacon and sausage. And finally, there was a scrumptious dessert. It is more than a person can eat but we certainly tried hard to do it! Delicious.

Had a very peaceful night sleep here. I was visiting the Vallelunga race circuit and it was the nearest decent hotel. Very interesting hotel with lots of wonderful artefacts , original maps, routes and carriages. All kept in a very original order. Had a very tiny room with a shower, but it was all very clean and comfortable. Could have benefitted from a better pillow! and a cup in the bathroom next time please.
