Magnificent building in a magnificent village. Having visited it in winter, I don't know what the shops and services are like. Rose Festival in June. The streets should be beautiful and fragrant. To have !

Especially for Dutch speakers: this is a top location in many respects. hotel and restaurant a big 8 (towards 9). the abbey and castle, but also the village of Camon as a whole, take you back hundreds of years in time. its origins even go back to the 9th and 10th centuries. Destroyed several times in previous centuries, last rebuilt in the 18th century, as it still stands today. Camon, with approximately 150 inhabitants, is included in the list of Les Plus Beau Villages de France. the location of the hotel and restaurant is very special with beautiful terraces and garden with swimming pool. hospitable welcome by owners and staff.
