My recent visit to Wendy's left me disappointed yet again. Despite being a repeat customer, I encountered yet another issue during my most recent trip a couple of days ago. This time, I was surprised to find out that refills on tea and soda were not allowed. What was even more disheartening was witnessing the manager's response to the cashier who attempted to accommodate us. Instead of providing constructive feedback or assistance, the manager reprimanded the cashier in front of customers, contributing to an uncomfortable atmosphere. It's evident that Wendy's needs to focus on improving employee training and fostering a supportive work environment. Such instances only fuel turnover rates, ultimately affecting customer satisfaction. Hopefully, Wendy's takes this feedback seriously and implements changes to provide a better experience for both customers and employees alike.
The workers are so ridiculous here. I wait over 20 minutes in a short line. Someone falls asleep at the drive thru intercom. The line behind me and myself try honking and trying to get the drivers attention. I drive around after the car behind me goes around us. I go around after 10 minutes of waiting for this car to order. When I get to the window, the car in front is getting their food after going around the sleeping driver. When I tell the workers and ask them to check on the driver, they refuse to take my order and tell me to circle back and get in the back of the line. This is after they close the window and another young worker laughs and signals to drive around. I had to leave at that point. I can't give money to lazy workers who think they should be rude and laugh. Why wait another 20 plus minutes because they can't just take an order and stop being lazy. This location has always been notorious for having their drive thru go extremely slow. But this was absolutely horrible. I'll never going there again unless they hire new staff or retrain those who are there now.
The cashier Amanda wouldn 't even count the money handed to her and instead asked how much did you hand me with an attitude to a 14 year old. After that, i ordered; while ordering i could tell the cashier was anxious probably because the manager had a bad attitude. Along with the person who made my iced coffee who slammed the coffee down like i was wrong for ordering a coffee LMAO, which tasted like straight water. Customer service is terrible, rude and uncomfortable to be around if i was working there i would feel anxious as well.
We called in to ask if they could make some cookies fresh for us around 11:30 pm and they did it! It was very kind and we were so happy.
