Everything exceeded my expectations. You roll up to a drive-thru BBQ joint (especially one attached to a gas station), and you really don't know what to expect. Except maybe mediocrity. But, alas! The ribs were better than I expected, the fries were actually seasoned, the potato salad was solid, and the sausage was tasty. My wife said it was the best catfish she'd had in awhile, so I took a bite (or 3), and I agree! Definitely a nice place to stop on your way to wherever when going through Cameron.

I ask for lean meat. I order one pound of brisket lean, and I told the guy two times LEAN on the meat. He said OK, but I got all fat on the meat, real bad, and it was garbage. They don't even know how to cut the meat. I even order, and paid for mac cheese, and green beans and they didn't even put the green beans in the bag. I will never go back to Clem Mikeska BBQ again. Stay away, or I be reading your review....NEVER NEVER AGAIN

I'm a BBQ fanatic and this is not very good. Been here 3 times Flavor is off and sides are always cold. Jerry Mikeska's BBQ in Columbus, Tx. is way better.
