The staff at this restaurant is incredibly friendly and I finally found a connection to my family's heritage after searching for 15 years! The place is spotless, well-run, and serves the most delicious blueberry pancakes, sausage, and sweet potato biscuits I've ever tasted. If you don't try this place, you'll be missing out on authentic Southern hospitality and culture.

We absolutely LOVED the excellent service from our waitress (Samantha. she gave us the best service we have had since moving to NC. She also recommended our breakfast items and told us about the area. For the best local secret, this is the answer! You won’t be disappointed! Be sure to ask for Samantha ?

Such a great local restaurant with excellent food. The hamburger steak and real mashed potatoes were fantastic! I can’t wait to go back. Friendly staff and the patrons and friendly too!

The food was really good, with a great atmosphere and service. It's definitely a spot worth checking out. I'll be a regular.

Well we went to try this out of the blue because we saw the great reviews…..sad to say we were super disappointed. We walked in to a lady standing at the register…..for 10 minutes. Then finally walked to the other customers to get orders. After another 10 minutes she finally threw a menu at us and said I think I might have another. No drink order, nothing. So after 20 minutes of absolute no communication, we left. I understand being short staffed, but there was only 7 people in the restaurant. All the woman had to say was bear with me, anything…..but nope. Took everyone else’s order and left us there with nothing. Won’t be going back!
