Bidrage med feedbackThe welcome in this boutique hotel in the most elegant area of London is definitely warm and impeccable, but at the same time sufficiently informal to put at ease every guest of the hotel, bar or restaurant. We dined in four at the Brasserie Max on the ground floor and were conquered by the savoir faire and the affection of Luca, maitre in the hall, and by Joao or Flavio, respectively restaurant and bar manager. Maria's signature cocktails, the young and creative mixologist, really have an extra march and were the perfect pairing with much of the dishes. We enjoyed the best Wellington beef in the city and met an unforgettable staff: from Jason and Anthony, the night managers, to Luca De Caro of the room service! Relaxed atmosphere and familiar warmth: unforgettable experience...
What a delightful experience! The restaurant's decor is stunning and the service is outstanding. Whether you're stopping in for tea or a full meal, you won't be disappointed.
Beautiful restaurant with tea room typical English in historical area, excellent service absolutely to visit for those who want to drink tea in London.
My experience at this restaurant for afternoon tea during Christmas was fantastic. The staff were all very pleasant and professional, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Definitely worth a visit.
The sandwich selection in the Christmas afternoon tea was disappointingly lackluster. Everything tasted bland and dry, including the egg mayo sandwich. I believe this was due to the thin layer of filling in the sandwiches. On the bright side, the scones were delicious. The desserts were inconsistent in quality, and overall not worth going back for. The venue itself is great for drinks or attending the cinema club, but next time I will choose the dinner menu, which appears to be much more appealing.
