Bidrage med feedbackIncredibly well crafted dishes! Oleana specializes in great Mediterranean cuisine. All their dishes looked beautiful and are so well made to optimize for a rich flavour. Our favourites were the Arctic Char and the Feta Cheese Sagnaki. You will have alovely experience here and it is perfect for date nights and one on ones!
Every dish we ordered was delicious. I had lemon chicken as my main course. the most tender, juicy cut of the breast. the deserted egg with thunfish was a wonderful surprise. everything was beyond expectations.
Soou goood! everything here was so delicious. there was a dance in my mouth and taste buds were activated! the server were all very polite and friendly. they recommend a few teller and they were great! recommend the zucchini drill! besides eating and service I loved that each worker wore masks and this place is one of the few places in boston that check vaccination cards. they do not take reservations for the terrace and we had to wait about an hour to get a table.
I had a wonderful time at Oleana! The staff were very attentive and made great suggestions. The food was all around excellent and I would easily come back here again. I think my favorite dish was the Fatteh because of the combination of flavors and textures. In my group of two we ordered three hot mezes and split one larger plate which I think was the right move to experience the menu and get enough food.
One of the best culinary experience that Cambridge can offer. As one of the top 3 Mediterranean restaurants in Cambridge, Oleana certainly did not disappoint. I’ve been to quite a few upscale Mediterranean restaurants, but Oleana was one of the few places that can masterfully combine the authentic and contemporary elements of Mediterranean cuisines. Oleana focuses more on the Turkish dishes which also makes them stand out a bit more, We started off with the whipped feta which was a great representation of how spices are used in Mediterranean dishes. The subsequent hot meze plates Vermont quail kebob, moussaka, borek, trout spanakopita were also spectacular. While the spice levels have been compromised to make the dishes more palatable, the subtle scent of different spices was adequate to make them interesting. For the entrées, we had the lemon chicken and the Istanbul fish stew. Lemon chicken was covered in za’atar which is a mix of different spices, and the cheese pancake underneath perfectly compensated for the slightly dry texture of the chicken. Istanbul fish stew was the only menu that I thought was a tad bland, but it was still a nice introduction to Turkish food. We finished our meal with their signature baked Alaska which was phenomenal. Under the melted zesty meringue were some coffee ice cream and coconut pastry, and I enjoyed every bite of it. Co Highly recommend trying them out, but make sure to make the reservation at least two weeks in advance.
