Chalawan Asian Eatery - Cambridge

The food is always excellent, and different from other Asian restaurants, the service is friendly and efficient I hope the place makes a go of it. I certainly intend to help them do so.

I don 't usually write reviews, but my group had such a great time at Chalawan I feel inclined to spread the word! Hosted a post-workshop dinner for around 20 or so academics. Lots of 'new american ' joints around Harvard Square charge an arm and a leg, so I gave Chalawan a try and they went above and beyond. The family style dinner was a huge hit—everyone around the table saying it was the best post-conference food they have ever had—and the staff were so helpful and patient regarding dietary restrictions. Very very tasty. The chicken curry thingy and the whole fish thingy and the brown rice were omggg so good. The ambiance is also really cute and nice. Strongly recommend. It was so yummmyyyyyyyy. Will definitely come back at some point in the future. Yummmmmm.
