Catalyst - Cambridge

We always feel good about our experience at Catalyst. Last night was no different excellent service, great food.

I always have enjoyed my times at Catalyst. Last night was no exception, but with a couple of issues. The brussel sprouts salad was very salty; not sure if it was the lemon dressing, to which a heavy hand of salt was added, or overall. I did not bring it to the attention of our server, as I did not want my guest to feel uncomfortable, but I did make a comment to him with regard to the level of salt and he agreed. Also, it was a rather busy night, at the bar and seated areas, so the noise level was energetic because of that. But, as the evening progressed the music got louder or more intense. Conversation was affected by the fact that one need to listen intently to hear what the other was saying. Overall we enjoyed our time at Catalyst. This truly was the first time experiencing any issue.

The entrees were fabulous, however the pumpkin creme brulee was not very good, too thick and not a creme brulee

This was a very smooth, pleasant dinner. Our server Cassandra B? ensured that we are available, but not to hurry and helped us safely with the choices we made for dinner. I had the Lg Fusilli Bolognese and my wife had the spinach ricotta Tortellini. Both dishes were plentiful and enough to take home. Very recommended.

We love to have dinner at Catalyst and have been doing so for many years. The food is excellent as is the service and we always feel well taken care of. One more thing that many folks may not notice is the music selection. To our minds, thoughtful and enjoyable.
