The Coffee House - Cambridge

I visited this restaurant for the first time on Friday and loved the food and coffee so much that I came back again on Tuesday. The all-day breakfast menu is fantastic and the staff are very friendly.

Nothing sets you up for the day than a good breakfast. This was a perfect breakfast with just the right amount of quality ingredients, cooked to perfection and hot! Proper condiments and decent coffee guaranteed to put a smile on your face, equipping you to face the rest of the day. A local gem.

I can't review the food as I have never tried it but the coffee is really good and reliable. Small amount of seating but good for a takeaway. The owner's real nice too

Before leaving, I mentioned to the staff that by not allowing me to purchase a drink elsewhere, they were missing out on the £15+ we intended to spend on other items. Despite my polite delivery, I was met with indifference and even accused of being rude by one of the servers, which I refuted. I returned to clarify that I did not appreciate her attitude and only wanted to find a way to support their business. The owner/manager then explained their policy of not allowing customers to bring in outside beverages, citing concerns of fairness. Despite our explanation and insistence that we were not being rude, the server eventually apologized begrudgingly. This experience left a bad impression on me, and I do not plan on returning to this establishment. I cannot in good conscience recommend this place to others based on the unprofessional behavior exhibited by the staff.

This busy little coffee shop is a gem, tucked away just a few mins from Addenbrooks it has great coffee but also a tasty but reasonably priced fry up. You see all types of customers not just locals but visitors to Addenbrooks, builders, parents dropping kids off at the school nearby. It feels like an important part of the community.
