Had a lovely meal with good service what more could you ask

Upon arrival and stating my name and table reservation the manager told me that we hadn 't reserved a table as they don 't bother to look at the table bookings through this site . I told him that I had phoned 3 times prior and no one picked up and he said yeah we just ignore that . I said that this is unnacceptable and that the service shouldn 't be advertised if it 's something they don 't act upon. After recognising that I was clearly distressed by the situation and that I was in happy to wait for a table for one and a half hours he then seated us in about 3-4 minutes. Upon walking to the rear of the restaurant I was very annoyed to see a number of empty tables that had been laid but not sat at. Had I of not said that we were unhappy to wait for so long for a table then we would have been waiting an age when there was ample seating available. Disrespectful old git, clearly unhappy that he was marked on the rota for the Sunday shift.

Four of us went to an authentic meal. the vegetarian options were very good. we had even been pudding

We wanted a casual dinner in the middle of the week, and we got it. children tasty, children in few garments help themselves (more alcohol-free drinks close to and simply clean servier areas. my meat was flown over the servier bar, the plate was missing, fucked on it (provided that the area was clean, but. and handed over to me. (no, there was no waiting queue so that no pressure can be operated quickly. the sweet were nice, but most had a sauce on them, only 2 were without. the gravitation was very salty, so not really as much choice as we hoped for anyone who wants to eat healthy. we rejected the puddings, who still a little stunned by the shooking child near. the waitress was ok, polite and professional, but not surprised when we said "no thank you" to desserts. we left her a tip.

We always enjoy toby carvery eating is always fresh hot and tasty. excellent staff always very pleasant and polite.
