St. Vincent Wine - Calumet-Norvelt

St. Vincent Wine is a nice and chill spot to enjoy wine, cocktails, and good food. There is a ton of seating outdoors, but also seating in the upstairs bar (inside) as well as on the deck upstairs. I really like how the deck gives a great view of the stage when there are performances. I believe there are performances every Wednesday. The band plays relaxing music.I enjoyed the lobster bucatini and my charcuterie board. I was impressed I got to customize my board to my liking with several options. Usually, I find that is not an option at most places. I can remember the name of the cocktail I got, but it was light and refreshing. The only con of the experience was that if you’re purchasing single glasses of wine or soft drinks, you have to go upstairs to the bar. They bring everything else to your table but not glasses of wine and soft drinks. So I did have to get up and walk upstairs. I think most prefer to sit and relax while dining, and having to walk upstairs to the bar is kind of the opposite of that, but beggars can’t be choosers.The staff was nice and I enjoyed the live music.

Fabulous everything. Ambiance, vibe, service, drinks, food... Very relaxed. Sofas and tables also 2 bars and plenty of outdoor garden seating! Good live music of the jazz persuasion 3 or 4 nights a week, M, W, Th, ... Weekends too... Check the website! Zack does the scheduling for the music, friendly staff, interesting community.Loved the eggplant appetizer and Spanish Rose recommended by the bartender! ???

There isn't quite a place like this anywhere else in DC. One of chilliest, most accommodating, and service focused staff you can experience. The owners care deeply about what they do, trying to provide a welcoming an inclusive space for all. Did I mention live music, great cocktails, and an amazing outdoor space. They ended up expanding their kitchen cause they heard the needs of their guests. I don't visit as often as i'd like, well because then I'd always be there. Oh. They also have wine. So much wine. Delicious, fun, wine for every palate. Suggest bringing a big group. But make reservations or be kind to the host when you show up.

I have been to St. Vincent numerous times, during all seasons and for various occasions. Whether it’s a date night or celebrating a birthday the place always shows up and provides top notch service, wine and food. The staff knows exactly how to make your experience memorable, chat with you when the mood is appropriate but also give you your space when you’re having an intimate conversation.I recently joined their wine club and cannot recommend it enough! Not only is it an awesome monthly deal (and you get two bottles of specially curated wine each month) but the discount is insane and I never leave without a case of wine when I go to pick up the two bottles. Whoops.If you ever have anything bad to say about this place you’re tacky and I hate you.

One of the best gems in all of DC!!! Fantastic, kind, professional, warmly hospitable and knowledgeable team, stellar wine program, delicious food, beautiful garden environment, St. Vincent is the place you go to enjoy a cheeky bottle of wine with friends but the compelling wine program and ambience make you stay for hours. I love everything about this place and even though I no longer live in DC it’s the place I always visit on my 2-3x a year returns. Can’t wait to come back in October!
