This was perfect as an extra 31st anniversary gift. My wife is a lover of fine chocolate, and she said these are as good or better than any she’s had. And 24 hours later, they’re almost gone! ? I’m delighted to have found this DC locally owned, small business, started and owned by a talented chocolatier. Get them now in Georgetown before they blow up as a world-wide franchise…I foresee that coming. Thank you, Petite Soeur DC! I’m a big fan. ?

I first heard of Petite Soeur when visiting my all-time favorite bakery, Nino's. I should have known then that it would be fabulous, but somehow, regrettably, I delayed trying Petite Soeur. Until today. My partner brought home a sampling, and it was difficult for me to hold myself back from devouring it all. Funnily enough, the least interesting looking dessert, the sable cookies, were the most addictive (but maybe that's just because it came in the largest quantity . Of the bonbons, the passion fruit was my favorite. What a flavor explosion, softened at the end by the creamy chocolate shell. Delightful and high quality. I've paid $75+ for small boxes of chocolates before, and very few of them compared to Petite Soeur's sampling. Of the fudges, the rasberry(? was my favorite. Tasted like a sorbet on a hot summer day! And it was such a surprisingly good flavor, that after my partner and I shared a bite, we both exclaimed that we needed to return for more!

My daughter ordered a sampler chocolate box as a gift for me for Mother's Day. UPS changed the delivery date until the Monday after and my chocolates were a melted mess. I contacted Petite Soeur and they were so gracious and helpful. We agreed that attempting to send chocolates to during a blistering early heatwave was not going to end well. They suggested their sable cookies as a replacement. I received those cookies and I will say they are the most delicious, buttery smooth cookies I have ever eaten. I am a fan for life.

Great service! I was rushing to get home for a family event and stopped by the shop to see if my order was ready. The owner graciously told me she would complete the order today and drop it off at my house! Went above and beyond.
