Always a great stop for anyone in the area of visiting DC. Definitely an after work spot. Great service and ambience

A must stop if you are on a quest to hit all of the top political bars in DC.

Classic, old school DC bar near the White House. A great spot to bring out of town guests for cocktails. Love the political caricature coasters.

Staff were so caring and attentive. I sat at the bar and was impressed with the level of care from the second I walked in. They pay attention to their customers. I was reading and as it got darker inside the one staff member even moved the light closer to me in such an understated way. Wonderful atmosphere. If I could afford it, I’d be a regular here. Prices aren’t out of line at all, especially for the level of quality and service—just not something I can personally do regularly. Such a great experience.

Best cocktail bar near the National Mall. We completed our evening here with dessert and drink. Fireside chat old fashion was sublime while observing ebb and flow of DC socialites. Waiters were superb and timely. Definitely a favorite of the trip
