Great place w/ great chicken and burgers without the excessive grease. A must if looking for something quick and fulfilling
I had walked past this restaurant for years but never thought about coming and and giving it a try, probably because I have never been quite that hungry at that moment. Today's visit was somewhat planned because I had a hankering for some real fried chicken. They have a huge sign on display which features thwir fried chicken. The first thing that I noticed when I walked through the door were the Cajun chicken tenders. Ot sounded delicious so I went for the 6 piece chicken tender meal. It included a biscuit but no fries or drink were included and they don't have a chicken tender combo meal persay. The price came out to be around $11.00. What I found less appealing about this rrstaurant is that the dining room section was closed off to the public, and there was no real indication as to why. There were tables turned upside down and brooms stowed in the corner for everyone to see. It kind of conjoured-up the feeling of those fried chicken and Chineese food restaurants that are all carry-out, and some even feature bars on the windows and doors. Everything else about this restaurant was modern including the menu board. The chicken tenders were great once I found a place to sit down outside.
I saw BURGERIM while in Israel (but never ate there) and am glad to have it in the US. Ordered from them both in UberEars a while back and my wife got the Hawaiian salmon and Greek lamb burgers from here as well as sweet potato and fries last week. They have good vegetarian options including impossible and falafel burgers as well. It is not kosher but the food is halal and they have some strictly halal locations. Unfortunately some of the DC area locations closed such as Gaithersburg but there is still one in Petworth. The burgers are quite good and the service was friendly and very fast according to my wife. The Hawaiian salmon burger reminds me of BGR which apparently still has some locations too but I heard of at least one closing. It costs slightly more than other burger chains but it is good for what you get. Only downside is still do not have indoor seating so we had to eat outside at the bus stop.
