Acqua Restaurant Bar - Caloundra

Had the best meal in a really long time. They were able to make the martini i wanted and it was perfect. Our entree was faultless and our mains were also delicious. Will definitely be back next time we are in town. And the staff gave 5 star service.

Service was so disappointing, raved on about this restaurant to friends from NZ who were visiting after experiencing a lovely lunch about a year ago. But it was such an unpleasant experience. One of us only got our meal (chili prawns linguini after everyone else had finished their meal. Asked waitress twice and all she said it was coming, did not apologise once. Asked for a Tanqereay Gin (at $13 a pop with muddled lime and soda water and the soda water was flat and lime just thrown in. Never asked us if we wanted another drink, had to ask for the children's menu, never cleared the finished plates, asked for the fan to be turned on and it never was..... Cmon guys it's not rocket science. Absolutely appaling service !

We visited acqua on Friday night for dinner. it was busy, but the staff was very attentive. we haven't waited long for our meal. our wine glasses were always full. Eat was amazing! we had uttered and then the steak and it was phenomenal, but $56 for a steak was a little expensive, but it is not worth cooking yourself!

Omgosh you must go to this restaurant, it ticks all the boxes. The staff were very friendly, the location on the water is perfect, the restaurant was busy but the staff still looked after us well. The food was divine servings were large, great to see! Considering the quality of everything at the restaurant, I thought I got value for my money, I’m coming back

Honestly reading the reviews I was really excited to come have lunch at this place. But in all honesty for $379 lunch the food was Average the starters were cold no joke cold and tasteless. Tabel serves had to wave my hand around to get attention from someone. The chef didn't have the heat light on for the food that was sitting waiting to go out for a long time. Maybe why food was cold. Also waiting and hour and half for mains was joke. The whitening I was trying to find the macadamia crumbing again tasteless and cold for $31 salad was all rocket with a slice of onion and maybe one slice of cucumber covered in dressing like covered! The chips were nice though. Punkin risotto was just horrible can't even comment on that my mother had a spoon full and left the rest. Pork belly starter was dry the salmon was extremely salty to the point you had to have 3 glasses of water with it. And all the soft drinks were flat and warm! I don't know how a soft drink can come out warm only getting cold as the ice melted within the drink. Very disappointing I can comment on one of the male servers didn't get his name but had tribal tattoos he was lovely I think he could tell we were not enjoying our meals and waiting to long he did do a great job makeing sure we were okay and topping up waters. For the other girls on the floor looking around into space with one's skirt so high up I could nearly see her breakfast wasn't pleasant I dont think we will be back again. We're local but obviously this food wasn't even up to the local pubs standard. Sorry guy's
