Peppinos - Callicoon

The first time here and the food was SO GOOD!! It was crazy busy, but the servers were still attentive and did a great job!!

I came for the pizza bc I just love NY-style pizza and I wasn't disappointed. Even though it was a bit salty, I still enjoyed the generous w mozzarella cheese, the thin crust, and the fluffy and light but chewing dough. The crust was probably the best crust I had at the age. Almost like a hybrid filó dough thin upper layer and chew core without much density. The waitress was very sweet, gave our dog fresh water in a cleanly washed bowl, let our dog sit with us on the outdoor table that had a parasol. The salad was huge and could be divided with 2-3 persons. Calamari was just made right? light and crispy with a lot of homemade marinara sauce. The surroundings are beautiful in the Catskills with lakes and farms. The city is beautiful and friendly. The bathroom was nicely made, clean and spacious.

Love the charming city of Callicoon, NY! Love Peppino? Restaurant. Interior and exterior seats. Be careful, big parts here! Veal Chiff dinner I could feed 3 people! Large drinks (beer) cheap. Bar area. Many street parking nearby. Not cheap, but excellent food extra. Friendly and professional staff. A door opened and I noticed that the staff in the kitchen joking each other, good moods and food here! I'm back!

Terrible service. The waitress was rude and served the bigger tables, although I was there first. It took 20 minutes to drink. Then almost an hour for fetters Alfredo no chicken or nothing. Cost me $25 for a bland Alfredo dish add some seasonings please. Only salt. Not worth the car or waiting. Everyone carved about it. No impressed.

I had the veal Milanese my wife chicken marsala. The latter has great taste profile, whilst the former was bland.
