Stopped in for a quick bit on the way back from Ridgecrest- yes there are several fast food options in the area but we need to support small businesses- and the food was excellent- the 4 taco special for 10.99 was excellent- lots of flavor and the homemade tomatillo salsa was off the charts.
The restaurant has new owners and a revised menu. They offer a mix of Mexican, American cuisine, and pizza. The Mexican dishes are excellent, and we recently sampled their pizza and wings. This place is one of the top dining options in Mojave. They are currently open from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturdays and closed on Sundays. Weekday hours are unknown. We came across this restaurant during a spur-of-the-moment road trip from LA. The atmosphere was very charming, with a vintage decor that we loved. The staff were friendly and welcoming.
Looks a little run down, but the breakfast food here is tasty and served in a normal sized portion. The staff were nice enough to let us in a bit earlier than opening time and we all left a happy and full group. Great stop of for us en route to Bishop.
A little diamond in the rough the food was absolutely amazing service was also good. Prices are very fair.
