Good quality of food, fast and friendly service, worth the price

Excellent service, great wine, food was a bit mixed, steak great, fish overcooked.

Our second visit to this lovely restaurant, on the final evening of our holiday. It was nice to be recognised by the staff and given a warm welcome. The food again was excellent and the attention we were given brilliant. It was another lovely evening here. Highly recommend it.

We were in the restaurant for lunch, but unfortunately the service was too slow and selective that we give up. After 30 minutes waiting for the daily menu, only the drinks were delivered in our table. The other tables around us ordered and received the starters, but in our case we were ignored. Due to that we payed the drinks and we left the restaurant. Good luck for your visits to this restaurant.

Just eaten at this place second time in a month (we live locally) and sad to say both experiences of the food quality were bad. We really wanted to like this place due to it’s nearness to our home, bad sadly the overly expensive meals coupled with the very poor quality meat and slightly grumpy staff (both times different staff) just doesn’t make us feel like we want to go back or recommend it. Avoid unless you like the view! Views are all over Madeira though and with much better quality food.
