The Lake House - Calgary

The food at The Lake House is incredible, and the service is top-notch. We always enjoy dining here and highly recommend asking for Darcy, who provides the best service we've ever experienced.

Excellent, as usual. The heritage menu was a delight to experience.

The food and service were excellent. The view of the lake is stunning. However, if you're seeking a peaceful, romantic atmosphere, this may not be the best choice. The restaurant is quite noisy and the noise travels throughout the space.

Have not been here for years. 6 of us in our party. Mushroom soup was a little weak. Not sure if it was a cream soup or broth. 2 of our party had lamb. Good but no mint sauce or jelly!! Steak was well prepared and I enjoyed it although minimal vegetables. The mussels were good as were the French fries. Cod was also nicely prepared and a generous portion. Our server was new and while he was pleasant he was inexperienced. Would probably return. Beautiful views!

This is a great place, however the noise level was to a point where I was ready to leave. They will have to do some serious noise abetment before I will return. It was to a point of painful state. Our unfortunate waitress could not hear our order and did not get our order. I am not blaming her just the lack of noise abatement..
