Rau Bistro: Vietnamese Street Food

Huuuuuuuge shoutout to Rau Bistro. We went today and got their Mega Bowl and Satay Beef Roll vermicelli with a Vietnamese iced coffee and (REAL) taro bubble tea.Normally, I find most vermicelli bowls taste virtually the same from any restaurant, but Rau truly goes beyond. Their spring rolls are extra crispy, the meat was savoury and seriously next level.The drink is what shocked me the most. I’ve obsessed over taro bubble tea for a decade now, and to my surprise, I realized today that I’ve never had it with actual fresh taro. 10/10 food, 10/10 staff, 10/10 atmosphere definitely consider this place the next time you’re craving Vietnamese cuisine!!

Wow! Just wow.. I ordered their rice plate with the meatloaf through SkipTheDishes and it was aaamazing!!! The pork was very tender and the portion was massive. The meatloaf reminded me of shumai dimsum with an egg in the middle super delicious. I’d 100% recommend trying this place out and plan to go in person for their noodle soups.

This is best Vietnamese food in town. Its authentic as you can get. The owners are from southern Vietnam near the Mekong Delta. So it's not your typical Vietnamese dishes that you'll find in the city. The bamboo chicken soup with crispy chicken leg and salad is a pleasant surprise. This place reminded me of the cuisine in Vietnam when I was last there. Food you can get here. ?

One of my favourite Vietnamese restaurants! Portions are big and food tastes sooo good! Fresh and gives me homemade vibes ?. I really like the tofu pho and the tofu vermicelli !Parking is limited though and always busy inside so call before hand!

We had the Bò 7 Món (beef 7 courses it consists of two halves: 1. Beef congee, papaya salad with beef jerky, marinated beef salad; 2. Steamed giant meat ball, grilled la lot beef, grilled satay beef, vinaigrette beef fondu) to share along with a side of tamarind/salt pepper chicken wings.The 7 courses of beef were done extremely well. Each course's beef was tender and seasoned/marinated well. Overall, it was a balanced mix of salty, sweet, tangy, along with a fragrant beef flavor. The chicken wings were crispy on the outside, tender on the inside and the tamarind flavor was complimentary to the salt pepper.I would definitely order this again for delivery or dine in!
