Bidrage med feedbackThis restaurant has been a longtime favorite for breakfast on the way to Banff. I have never even had lunch here because the hostess and coffee are always fast. The coffee is still served in a thermos left on the table. The breakfast order comes out quickly and is served as requested. The waitress checks on us multiple times and refills our coffee pot. The menu is simple, with classic dishes like eggs, pancakes, and waffles served promptly, with no fancy new fusion options or heaps of fresh fruit.
In my opinion, this restaurant is probably the best location. The portions are generous and the food quality consistently excellent. The menu offers a wide selection, catering to all tastes. The prices are very reasonable. The staff is friendly and service is quick. I have no complaints! I will definitely return if I am in the area.
Phil's is consistently good. The restaurant is clean and busy on weekends. They offer a variety of typical breakfast entrees. Service is prompt and attentive. The decor is classic diner style. Prices are reasonable, around $30 for two breakfasts with coffee. The food is well-prepared and satisfying. Popular dishes include the Traveller's Breakfast, French Toast, and pancakes with blueberry topping. Overall, a reliable choice for breakfast, though I may try the Eggs Benedict next time to form my own opinion.
I stopped by Phil’s on a whim one morning because I was feeling like a classic breakfast and I figured I’d try it out since I pass by it occasionally. The interior is a decent size and while the décor is a bit dated, I think it has the classic diner charm that you would think of when going to a place like Phil’s. <br/ <br/ The service was okay; I was seated promptly but the waitress seemed to mainly care about just taking down my order and that was it. I got the Traditional Mixed Grill, which was good, but you can’t really go wrong with Bacon, Sausage, Ham, Eggs, Buttered Toast, and Hash Browns in the morning. Overall, Phil’s is a decent diner that serves decent food; if you’re going there, you probably have an idea of what to expect and they serve their niche well.
Better than Denny's. I would have to say the quality is better than Denny's. Dont go for a Sunday brunch, because the wait times are pretty long.
