Bidrage med feedbackThis is as close as you are going to get to Chipotles in Canada. Good fresh ingredients and quick service. They are VERY stingy with their portions however and the embarrassingly small carefully measured guacamole portions are laughable. I've stop going there.
I had been to Mucho a few years ago when they first came to Calgary and today I thought I would try it again as my daughter goes often and loves it. She loves it because she can't have gluten and she likes that she can order soft and hard corn tacos and feels like she isn't missing out. I was generally impressed this trip. Before you almost couldn't get anything without cilantro and now the brown rice doesn't have cilantro. Brown rice would be my choice either way so this works. I had a regular burrito and it was so filling I am stuff. One thing I would like to suggest to Mucho is for them to have one salsa that doesn't have cilantro. Its such a love hate food I would think others would also benefit from it.
If we can't have Chipotles in Calgary don't worry....Mucho Burrito comes to the rescue for Mexican fast food. You pick your ingredients and voila you have a custom Mexican feast. The portions are very generous, the prices are reasonable, the place is very clean and the staff are very friendly.
I was warned before I came here that I would get addicted. I should have taken that more serious. I moved into the neighbourhood a week ago and I've already been there three times. The food is amazing, the staff is so friendly and patient (I'm indecisive at times with new places). Pricing is average, not cheap but not unreasonable. Will.continue to be my Friday night stop.
I love this place as it's clean and nice, the staff is reasonably friendly and efficient, and the food rocks. The tostada salad was excellent with very fresh pico and crunchy veggies. The carne asada could have used some more grilling as it was semi-boiled and the tostada should be traditional corn, not the crackery whole wheat one that they use here. But other than that it was really delicious!
