Dairy Queen Grill Chill - Calgary

My first negative review. Our group of 3 arrived at 9:30, the restaurant closed at 10. There was only another group of 2 in there. Part of the restaurant was already closed off and the rest of the tables had the chairs placed upside down on them. After we entered the building the staff locked the door. When we placed our order the cashier asked if we'd like a bag, I said no, the order was to stay. 30 minutes is more than enough time to make a fast food order, eat it and leave. The entire place was already mopped and you could tell the staff was eager to leave. We ordered simple burger combo meals and waited a long time for them. The buns were cold and the cheese was not melted which was disappointing. The gravy was cold and lumpy. We had intended on ordering ice cream when we finished but felt entirely unwelcome. Our food arrived at 9:47 and at 9:55 we put our garbage in the trash bin, grabbed our leftovers, stepped around the high chairs that blocked our path out of the dining area as it was now entirely blocked off, and left the restaurant. We'll never go back to this location. We should have gone to McDonald's. Or Wendy's. Or even 711.

I came here after work and had wonderful service. I asked about the under the rainbow shake and the person who served me didn’t know so they asked and found out for me. Then they even made a sample for me to try it! It was very tasty and my food came fairly fast. The quality was good and the store was clean. I would definitely come back! Service: Take out
