Cineplex Cinema University District Vip

What a great celebration of our movement from calgary! service was great, film was fab! eating and drinks were great. it was a fabulous experience!

Eating was not served hot. the waitress changed my order slightly, no salate and gave rider. did not want any pommes as he was replaced. the theatre seats were not cleaned well. a straw pack was in my drink holder. it was a total disappointment. the venue was really nice. the musician in the restaurant was good. worth? no, not in this night. we were sleeping.

Fine. Nice to have a beer and a burger before the movie.

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our experience. This was his very first VIP experience at a movie theater. Service was great, food was okay(cold when I received mine).

The Cineplex Cinema University District VIP was a great experience. I love that they are putting more emphasis on the whole lets go to the movies experience as opposed to just focusing solely on improving the movie quality. The waitress was super nice but not in your face and the environment was very modern and sophisticated. Food is great because it is not so much that you cant enjoy your popcorn and candy. Only problem I noticed was that the row I was in had 11 seats and and I was with a guest that I wanted beside me. The people next to use were nice enough to move over so me and my friend could sit next to each other but this caused an issue with the servers. Our drinks were delivered to the seats beside us while the movie was on and we didn 't end up getting our drinks that we were interested in trying. Also I am not sure if it is a theatre problem or the movie itself, but at some parts in the movie the audio was so loud I couldn 't make out the dialogue. Overall it was a great experience though!
