Bennys Breakfast Bar - Calgary

It was disappointing. The Benny breakfast dish was tasteless, and the melted Cheddar cheese was terrible. We told our server about it, but it wasn't really important.

I thought this place was okay. But my husband loves it. The food was good. My child didn't like the Hollandaise. It was a little too sour and foamy. The service was just okay. She slapped everything she put on the table, what was loud and she wasn't really too happy to be there. She was an attentive server and everything seemed a little “over it” and a little impatient. You have to pay for water here as they don't have glasses. Everything comes in bottles. I really don't like this idea.

Very cheap plastic plates the food served also they serve only bottle water and warm bottle pop I was not impressed

The best tasting I try in 30 years in Canada. I just wish there was at least one location more

We were underwhelmed considering the reviews for this place. The food wasn’t anything special really… I wanted to love it because I love the atmosphere and the service was great. I was surprised at how thin the thick cut bacon was. and I thought...it had no flavour. But I mean Queens Cocktails really raise the bar for the bacon game. And the waffles were very sharp and cut the mouth, also cold. Also. They only do bottled water according to their menu… that’s weird and not particularly environmentally conscious. Just get me a cup of tap water… weird.
