Bidrage med feedbackFavourite Vietnamese. Continues to be a favourite with my husband and I! Always good for a cheap date night.
The best Vietnamese restaurant by far. I have lived in Kensington area for three years and I have avoided to try this restaurant just because of the impression I got from how the store front looks.Unlike the small door at the front of the resraurant, inside was very spacious and clean. And the food was the freshest and best by far in my experience with Vietnamese resraurant in Calgary!Since I finally discovered this nice restauran, I have kept coming back and have been always impressed by the food.I highly recommend their vermicellies and crispy egg noodle!
Mmmmmm. I see a couple of bad reviews as the latest and I honestly think you need to give it a second try. I order all the time from here and never had problems with quality of the food or waiting for take out and I dine in and take out an a monthly basis. The food is always piping hot (I always order the 'V4 ' Satay vegetables and tofu but order it on coconut rice) fresh and delicious. I also often order the cucumber salad and I will admit that once (take out) I got home to find it looked like it either had been sitting out or got too hot from the other dish of food and wilted. Staff is always friendly and they get you in and out very quickly. Good bubble teas too. Ive always found is a fast and cheap place for a yummy dinner grab.
It was a great restaurant. Friendly staff. Good food. But it’s closed now. Went out of business. I will miss you, Taste of Ginger. You got my order right almost every time.
I’ve been going here for over 15 years at least. It’s a small family run Vietnamese/Thai restaurant, clean and friendly people. The food is okay. I recommend you try their beef satay soup (there’s peanuts in it for those with nut allergy). Another personal favourite is their fried bananas with vanilla ice cream topped with peanuts. So good! out of
