Bidrage med feedbackVisiting Calgary and a friend of mine took me to this venue for Italian food. The quality of the pasta dish (Clam Linguine) was good and the pricing was reasonable. The restaurant provided very friendly service.
I have lived in Calgary 20+ years and I have never been to Villa Firenze. Why? I'm asking myself that same question since having a beautiful dinner there over the weekend for my birthday. This place is the real deal for Italian food and service....There were three of us, all ordering different dishes: Chicken, veal, and pasta with prawns. They were all delicious. You also get a generous portion of veggies which are steamed but not soft (in fact, they come to you with a bit of crunch). The foccaccia bread you get prior to your meal is insanely good (dipped in olive oil and balsamic vinegar the best). We started off with a special appetizer portobello mushroom in a parmesan sauce with parmesan cheese on top melted in our mouths. I will be back, that much I can guarantee. A completely delightful evening!
Had not been to this restaurant in several years. Went there last Saturday and had a wonderful meal. There were four of us and we ate family style . Started with their stuffed mushrooms, which are not on the menu but worth requesting. Then we shared...two pasta dishes and two main dishes. It was all good.
From the moment you walk in, you are greeted warmly! The service is top-notch and the Italian food is delicious. I will definitely be returning. Make sure to try the Portobello mushrooms.
Amazing food and service. Have been many times and always have a wonderful meal and chat with one of the owners. Very quaint establishment and would highly recommend for couples and large groups. The McMullens
