King's Chinese Restaurant - Caledonia

My daughter, who recently moved to Caledonia, wanted to order Chinese food. We had never ordered from a restaurant in Caledonia before, only from places in the Hamilton area. We ordered a large order from Kings Restaurant and I must say it was spectacular! The shrimp tempura, chicken balls, broccoli with bark, sweet and sour sauce, egg rolls, chicken fried rice, and sesame chicken were all delicious. I highly recommend this restaurant. We contacted them earlier in the day to ask about their hours of operation during the COVID-19 pandemic and had an amazing dining experience.

We really enjoyed the sweet fried rice, sweet and sour chicken balls, pork foo-young, sesame balls, onion rings, and thin noodles with pork. Everything was well prepared and tasted delicious. We have no complaints at all!

I picked up my order tonight, which included sweet and sour shrimp, house Lo Mein, and shrimp dumplings. The batter on the sweet and sour shrimp was so hard that I had to remove it in order to eat the shrimp. Unfortunately, the shrimp were not deveined and were difficult to eat. The Lo Mein was very greasy and made me feel sick. The only somewhat decent part of the meal were the shrimp dumplings, but even they seemed overcooked. Overall, the food was not enjoyable and I will not be returning to this restaurant.

I have a dinner myself for my mother. we were looking at the ribs, but we got black evil things that are so burned that they are ineisable. very disappointing will never order from them again. they offered me another court, but expected me to PICK...IT up! Why should I waste my gas, they should bring it to us.

Definitely not the same as they used to be, it looks like they have changed the way they make everything and it's more expensive. Won't be ordering from there again.
