Bidrage med feedbackThe staff is friendly and this restaurant has a lot of potential. Hopefully they continue to improve and expand, as I really love it.
We had a cozy and satisfying meal at this restaurant. The service was prompt and attentive. The cleanliness of the table, chairs, and restroom was impressive. The ambiance featured traditional Chinese décor.
The restaurant may appear outdated, but don't let that fool you! This family-run establishment, operated by a mother and her two sons, has been serving the community for decades with the same menu. The weekday and Thursday to Sunday dinner buffets offer a variety of dishes at a reasonable price. If the dated decor is a turn-off, takeout is always an option. Local favorites include the Young Special (sweet and sour chicken balls with chicken fried rice) and the Wong Special (dry garlic ribs with pork fried rice). A hidden gem on the menu is the boneless chicken, similar to a chicken finger served with fries. The French fries are said to be some of the best in the city, second only to the fresh-cut fries at Oasis. As a local, I can attest that this restaurant is always busy and any negative reviews are simply biased.
I ordered the take-out from here. that was terrible. the wings were burned. reis was overcooked. chow mien was muddy, dry and was cooked in the old oil. even the sweet and acidic sauce was watery and had no taste. I called to let them know. I was disappointed when I left minutes and they offered no return for my experience, unless I brought back the food I wasn't worth minutes. when I said that, he was hanging up on me. that is not even to mention that the restaurant itself looked very unclean. do not recommend this place.
Came here for a cheap lunch special, and that's what we got. Spring roll, fried rice and another choice (which was a little burnt). Food was edible (just), what you would expect based on the appearance of the place and being so cheap. Wouldn't return.
