Bidrage med feedbackAfter ascending a flight of stairs, the restaurant exudes a pleasant and relaxed ambiance. The service and food were excellent, with the pasta being particularly noteworthy. I highly recommend it.
I wandered in out of curiousity as I try to eat in every restaurant in Bolton at least onceThey were surprised to see me walk in - but the service was excellent and the food was marvelous - Im more focussed on low end dining any meal that comes to more then 20 bucks is considered a little pricey - the dining room itself is lovely - although you do have to walk up stairs and no one really greets you...Personally if I have the cash to blow and I want to take someone somewhere nice - this is a definite place to go. I wholeheartedly recommend going to this place if you want good no great food decent service lovely surroundings and are willing to pay that little extra
We had never visited this restaurant before and decided to try it out. The restaurant has a very appealing decor. However, please note that the dining room is only accessible by stairs, which may be a challenge for individuals with mobility issues. The service was efficient and not intrusive. We were welcomed with a plate of warm garlic bread and a dish of spicy pickles, a nice touch. Our meals were tasty and even though we didn't extensively review the wine list, we were able to choose a good glass of wine. The best part was that the total bill was affordable.
Upon arrival, we were not greeted at the entrance door. After wandering upstairs, we found a waiter to inform of our presence. Despite only tending to a few tables, the waiter took quite some time to take our drink order and even longer to take our food order. The bruschetta appetizer was flavorful but seemed to have just come out of the fridge. The mixed greens that accompanied it were quite wilted. When our main dishes arrived, the waiter mistakenly referred to veal as lamb chops and mixed up the orders. The broccoli paired with the veal was cooked well, but some florets appeared to be undercooked. We had to request water to be served. Strangely, the waiter began clearing our plates before some guests had finished their meals. The tiramisu dessert was enjoyable, however, the waiter promptly cleared the table as soon as the bill was settled, despite us still socializing.
We've enjoyed 2 good meals here - both times with good service - food has been tasty and nicely presented. The entry is dark and not always welcoming, but once you walk upstairs to the restaurant it's bright and modern. (there is an elevator also)They have a nice private room for functions as well.
