Bidrage med feedbackAfter a wait of over 80 minutes, cold food finally arrived. The dhal was passable but the three other dishes lacked any flavour. The chicken and paneer curries seemed to have a base sauce derived from Heinz tomato soup. The chicken dish contained a chicken wing; the shattered bones proved less than a delight. It is a good location and the staff friendly but sorry, the food is simply poor.
The restaurant serves Indian food but be aware, not the typical dishes you would be familiar with, if from the UK. 4 of us ate there and all had different menu choices all pleased with food choice. Setting is high on a hill with great view overlooking the Lagoon On all occasions we have been there we have been served by English speaking staff. It is a bit out the way and needs a car or taxi ride if staying in the village or near the lagoon but worth the effort. If I am honest I cannot understand how this restaurant survives as we have never seen more than a few tables occupied and this is great shame as food and setting is very good. Prices are reasonable but slightly higher than some of the other local restaurants.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this lovely restaurant. The decor is magnificent and with great views of the lagoon. The food was excellently cooked and presented, and the waiters could not have been more attentive and pleasant. A very enjoyable experience overall.
This was my worst restaurant experience ever . Huge area with lots of different rooms. 2 dishes on the menu. Both inedible.
The notice on the gate said they open at 6pm (different from TripAdvisor and their website). On a Saturday, we arrived at that time, waited for 15 mins; knocked no joy. We went the next day at 7pm open! Polite, if hesitant, service. Popadom/bhaji starters pleasant. Mains.....oh my word...we haven’t had anything that salty in we don’t know how long (and we’re not salt wimps). The Goan rice was so filled with lumps of spice that it was not possible to have one bite without fishing them out of each mouthful. The only bread you can have, then and there, is a cardboardy chapati can’t believe you have to pre order a naan! We left at 8.30 no one else arrived. We wish them well but......not for us.
