Bidrage med feedbackOutlet mall shopping in warm weather can be taxing but places like La Terrasse in the Polygone Riviera, Cagnes-sur-Mer, was a welcome break for lunch. Situated on the water's edge featuring musical fountains, it was very relaxing. Food was good and service was efficient. The whole ambience was clean and quiet.
We had a Caesar salad and the plat du jour which was a veal curry. Both were very tasty and the portions were generous. What I really appreciated was that the lettuce had been tossed in the sauce before being put on the plate. All the ingredients looked and tasted fresh and of high quality. 40 euros for these 2 meals and a .5 litre bottle of sparkling water.
Came across on first visit to the Polygone. It was a surprisingly well run and good quality place in the middle of a shopping mall full of clothes shops (too many in my mind), could do with more of a wider selection. La Terrasse does a good Mojito and the real surprise was a free pizza enough for 3 people. Well done !!!! Nice can still be generous .
Went here just for drinks and ended up staying for tea. Excellent food, excellent service and even though we struggled with the language barrier with the waitress we still received good service Defiantly worth a visit after shopping or before going to the casino ????????????????????????
Located immediately adjacent to the lake/fountain in the Polygone Riviera shopping centre, La Terrasse offers a very enjoyable open-air eating experience. The waterside location makes it a very attractive spot and the food equals that. Our waiters (4 in total) were all efficient and pleasant and the Salade Nicoise with Tuna mi-cuit (half cooked) was delicious. The only "criticism" would be the slightly elevated price (€17), but given the location and overall quality of experience that can be forgiven.
