Cafe Del Mar - Cagnes-sur-Mer

Came across this restaurant whilst walking along the Promenade de la plage. It looked impressive from the outside, and we noticed it had an outdoor seating area, so we decided to stop here, dine, and have our meal alfresco. The menu is obviously in French, and although we struggled a bit to decifer the choice in English, with the help of Google translate and the waitresses little English we got through. It was an experience, but after all, we are in France, and not all restaurants have English menus. The food we ordered was delicious. It was prepared and served from local fresh produce and ingredients. The staff are attentive and friendly and do their utmost best to ensure you have a lovely evening at their restaurant. Prices are slightly higher than back into the town, but you do pay more for location, and after all, you're eating alfresco watching planes landing and taking off in the distance whilst you enjoy gazing out towards the sea. Gratuity is not included, but with service being exceptional and the food devine, we automatically added 10% for a lovely meal. We would highly recommend this establishment.

We use this little place a couple of times a month. The wine is good, service friendly and the food is simple and delicious.

We've just had lunch here. Paid 6 € for a bottle of Evian!!! Without receipt. This is frankly ridiculous and feels like a joke, even before a robbery. In light of that, in my opinion the food and the rest become secondary and not worthy. Can't but advise against this place, but if you still wanted to try it, do bring your own water! It won't be you to have to be ashamed.

This place specialises in crepes and gallettes (savoury crepes). They have a deal, a savoury crepe, a sweet crepe, and a small glass of cidre for 14 ish euros. I had the Cafe Del Mar Savoury, my daughter ate the sweet and I ordered more cidre because it was delicious. The crepes were perfect and filling. Excellent waitress, who was tolerant of our dreadful attempts at French and helped us along. We will be back.

Various choices the products are very good, some are homemade (transparency on this subject). I'll give you their crêpe! for aperitif, a dish, a drink and a dessert 20,50€ unbeatable for a restaurant near the beach!
