The Square Royale - Caerphilly

The food at this restaurant was extremely disappointing and unpleasant. The owner should be embarrassed by the quality of their dishes. Definitely do not recommend coming back, especially if you have children.

This building is impressive and in a great location, with accessibility for those with limited mobility. The facilities are adequate. However, the food is substandard and poorly prepared. The lack of professionalism and indifference from staff members is disappointing. We left most of our meals uneaten and nobody asked for feedback. It would have been nice to see some level of concern from the staff. Another customer was also upset after receiving rude treatment when expressing dissatisfaction with their meal. I would recommend this place for coffee and conversation, but not for food until the staff improves their customer service skills.

Community Centre feel with bright lights,screaming kids,lots of shouting and swearing from the locals encouraged by the barmaid ,food was very poor also,so definately won't be returning.

Actual chicken still bubbling when arrived but chips were luke warm, the peas were rock hard and cold. Young lady took plate away but never even asked why food was untouched.

My partner and I frequently visit the Square Royale and always greeted with the best of welcome by all staff! During these difficult times, I have to say that they’re very stringent and adhere to the Welsh Government Guidelines, however, the food and service is amazing and a place where I feel very comfortable. Keep up the good work Russell and Adele!
