Golden House - Caerphilly

The only chinese I will go in caerphilly, a cut over the rest. They have been here for years and absolutely hate when golden house was closed and have made with others, e.g. pontygwindy road, burg view etc., as it simply does not compare...on quality. the products are always fresh and cooked to order, not taken away in msg or fat like most other Chinese. the service is excellent and the delivery is always faster than specified. unbeatable.

Mediocre food but the service is so terrible we will never return. They got our order wrong so requested they sent missing items, was willing to pay. Waited an hour while my food went cold and got hung up on twice! Discussing

Last night was the worst Chinese we've ever had the spring roll was dripping in fat the batter was rock solid and the food was tasteless

Local Chinese on castle view closed as they were on holiday fancied a Chinese. Decided to go here big mistake the lady behind the counter was rude. The food itself was horrible, curry sauce in the tiniest tub I've ever seen. Chicken fried rice tasteless...and very little chicken. Plain rice just came out in a lump. Noodles tasteless. Save your money don't get your takeaway here.

Was my favourite takeaway, until I encountered hairs in my food, on two separate occasions! Gutted, but moved onto hairless food x
