It 's actually called Zu den Drei Linden and is my favorite simple country inn . Simple but good food, extremely friendly staff, pleasant atmosphere, it 's not too cramped inside and you can sit outside when the weather is nice. There are certainly nicer beer gardens, but you can sit comfortably with a view of the three linden trees. The food is down to earth, homemade and no frills. Also the sausage that you can take away in cans. Not a shop optimized for the mass processing of people from Nuremberg who flock to the countryside on Sundays (like many inns in Kalchreuth or Franconian Switzerland (where you can also get good food and it 's okay), but just Fürther Hinterland: unspectacular, simple, likeable, good. Not a shop for tourists or day trippers, but for the people from the area. It 's open on Wednesday (only schnitzel and bratwurst), Friday (butcher 's plate there 's also individually or to put together yourself, i.e. only knuckles or black pudding, bratwurst, trunks, etc. Apparently on Fridays, all the senior citizens of the Cadolzburg hinterland meet here for the slaughter bowl meal), On Saturday there 's trout, half a chicken, schnitzel variations and bratwurst and on Sunday there 's roasts. Everything is also available as a senior or children 's portion and at absolutely fair prices. Salad is included and ketchup and mayo are also free if required. Every first Saturday of the month, the inn only opens at 3:00 p.m. and there are shish kebabs. There is nothing for vegetarians or vegans except cheese bread and side dishes. It 's somehow more honest and much more likeable to me than the alibi like, baked frozen cauliflower florets with tartar sauce that you can still sometimes find in the country. Otherwise, the inn is perfect for a nice walk followed by a stop. With the stations Trimm dich Path Cadolzburg , Vogtsreichenbach and Deberndorf, varied routes can be varied between one and two and a half hours. Alternatives in the vicinity: Old smithy in Rossendorf (5 stars from me) Also very good, with a tendency towards home style cooking with a bit more upscale cuisine but still Franconian and good. Gasthaus zum Wiesental in Steinbach (3 stars from me) Makes something home style, the kitchen is good, but greatly overpriced. The prices aren 't justified, I don 't go there anymore, that doesn 't make sense. Rotes Ross in Deberndorf (4 stars from me) Comparable with the three linden trees, but extremely narrow inside and outside actually not usable the garden was built over with privacy panels. I can only explain that as a concession to the smokers among the regular guests. It 's a shame, the food is really good and everything is homemade, as is the case with all the other options listed here. House Herbolzheimer in Vogtsreichenbach I was once many years ago. They have very strange opening hours, you have to plan that really well. Gasthaus zur Linde in Fernabrünst (5 stars from me) We leave the Cadolzburg hinterland and are already in the Roßtal catchment area. From time to time we are still there they also have very good food and the most beautiful garden of the restaurants described here if you don 't have a problem with flies, it 's a farm. As an extra there is a farm shop with a butcher 's shop, which can be opened spontaneously on request.
