Dairy Queen - Cache Creek

My experience is terrible every time I go there. I'll order a blizzard with extra sweets and they'll screw it up every time. If I ask nicely that they're messed up, I'll get a stance from this woman she doesn't like... will be there. Place is terrible not recommend to go there unless you want to be treated unprofessionally and feel uncomfortable. I had only a good experience and it was a child who looked like he was twelve, but he got it right and it tasted good. If you don't like to work there hosts all around and do something you like instead of ruining my day.

My sister and I came to Cache Creek to do something geocaching. We thought this Dairy Queen was a snack because several geocaches were nearby. We ordered our favorite contract: a Banana Split with our favorite toppings of hot fudge, cherries and pineapple. We were both impressed that the coviding precautions were practiced by the staff, including wearing masks. Customers were not allowed to sit indoors, but could use the outdoor terrace. Most took up their orders and enjoyed them in their vehicles. We sat in our RV with air conditioning on due to the very hot afternoon temperatures. We continued with our Geocaching after enjoying our soft ice look.

Most fast food places don’t bring your food to your table but they do here. The staff are mostly very young but well trained. Kudos to the manager!

The manager really goes out to make you feel welcome and has the staff on the same side. You can generally expect your meals to be delivered to your table by friendly staff. The only drawback of this restaurant is the smell at the bottom of the stairs where the washrooms are.

Unfortunately, the food was not great. The best part was the chips, but the chicken strips were tough and gristly. One of the chicken strips even appeared to be undercooked, which put me off from finishing the rest of the meal. Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant.
