Meson Vina Grande - Cáceres

Just had a couple of beers and tapas in here before heading back towards our hotel, best tapas we had all lunchtime. Seafood salad and deep fried potatoes with som kind of pork, we did leave most of the Pigs ears to be fair! We will definitely be back

This is a local 's joint, with a steady stream of neighborhood folks coming in. Not as upscale (or pretentious) as Oquendo, just down the road, but this Meson is genuine to Spanish life. The Ensalada con Ventresca was superb and when my wife said she didn 't care for tuna, that came on the side (for me), and instead, she got a handsome portion of fresh goat cheese, which she loved. The setas (mushrooms) a la plancha were perfectly to taste, and I went out on a limb and ordered riñoncitos de cordero lechal kidneys from a lamb. Quite superb (and nothing I 'd order elsewhere). Prices aren 't rock bottom, but they are reasonable, the wine is served with pride, and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Give it a try.

Una bonita sorpresa vagando por Cáceres. El trato es excelente, pese a estar muy agobiados un sábado a medio día, tanto los camareros de barra como los de terraza, todos muy amables, la comida buenísima y el lugar con encanto. Muy recomendable!

No se sabemos si lo mejor es el trato humano, o la calidad de los platos, que sin duda son Top, a un precio razonable, vale la pena recorrer muchos km para comer aqui, agracecidos, seria lo minimo que podemos deciros, te esperamos en Cerler.

Llegamos desde Huesca y quedamos encantados con el trato del personal y la calidad de todos lis platos que tomamos. Lo recomendamos a cualquier persona que quiera comer muy bien. Muchísimas gracias a todas personas del restaurante, fueron todos encantadores, os esperamos en Cerler!!!
