Milano Italian at Ibis - CABRAMATTA

Eating was terrible and oily. nearly 50 minutes waiting for eating. the service was bad. was not worth the price. never back.

Great evening. the reviews on urbanspoon were so-so, but we were told no worries for milano is under new management. we hadn't expected too much when we took part in a birthday dinner. we were totally blown away. eating is almost as good as you would find in first class restaurants in the cbd and in the posh eastern suburbs. we started rolling with free dinner served with soft butter. I am absolutely anal at the temperature of the butter. The service is very terrible due to keeping 8 people who made early reservations at 7pm wait till 9pm just so the food can come out, also when the food came out the orders were completely wrong and the waiter is also very rude. I don't recommend eating at milano's because their food is not worth paying for.

Pre Covid Milano's Italian Restaurant was one of our favorite restaurants to eat at, the food Was great, the atmosphere Was great but unfortunately with it being changed to a Bar and Grill it has lost all that. Firstly it has lost all it's charm, in many ways it's worse than a regular Pub Bar and Grill except the food is worse and the serving staff were borderline rude. I don't know about you but when I go out to eat I expect better food than I can pick out of an Aldi's freezer but everything we had I believe was picked up out of a supermarket frozen food isle and any sauces came right out of a jar, and not even a very good jar. I ended up not being able to finish my meal, it was just that bad, plus it seems they have made changes to the poker machine area which used to be non-smoking for the most part. Now we went there for an early lunch in the middle of the week so there were barely anyone there. I couldn't hear anyone playing the pokies and they do have glass sliding doors to help with smoke however at the bar it's open directly through to the pokie area, which then goes straight through to the kitchen and restaurant so it was like a chimney with all the smoke being drawn through to the restaurant. I had previously given Milano's a 5 star review that I wish I could remove, I think this change is terrible and would advise anyone wanting a good restaurant experience to avoid Milano's, I knew several people who also used to enjoy the Milano's of old and have advised them to not have high expectation if they venture back there. As for me I have no intentions of ever going back there.

I cannot believe how amazing the food and the service at this place is!!! A friend recommended this place and I’m so glad they did as I would’ve never had known about this hidden gem. The food was delicious and the presentation beyond perfection, The staff was so attentive and always smiling and happy to be there. More people need to know about this place, it is a waste to be such a secret. 5 star chef 5 star staff 5 star food!!
