Pakuri - Caacupe

This place really deserves 5 stars! The service was extraordinarily attentive, quick and friendly. The menu is very creative, most of their dishes have a clear Paraguayan influence with some interesting modifications. The environment is beautifully decorated in all areas of the restaurant.

Pakuri is one of the finest restaurants I have eaten at in Paraguay and compares favorably to the offerings in other world capitals. For the quality of the food and the ambiance Pakuri deserves a Michelin star, if not two. The pastel mandi'o de pescado, an empanada made from yucca dough stuffed with fish, and the milanesa de rack de cerdo, a breaded pork loin, accompanied with a bitter orange sauce and a sweet potato puree, were two of my favorite items. The cocktails, inspired by local liquors and herbs, were also delicious. Both the chef and the mixologist deserve commendation for their work.

Such a beautiful place with amazing food. Everything is very tasty and traditional. The price is too low comparing to what they offer. I loved it and will come back as soon as possible. Thank you Sofi!

I had to come because I heard this is one of the best restaurants in Asuncion if not Paraguay. Arrived a little earlier than expected the restaurant was still preparing and I waited outside a while before was showed to a table. I didn't really know what to order though the ceviche caught my attention and the staff recommended me to order the beef. I did listen to the recommendation and I ordered and I have to say the meal was really very enjoyable. The food was really good and delicious and I was over greedy as the portion of the ceviche and the beef was quite big. It was a very full dinner. Also ordered a drink but I couldn't finish it as I thought the alcohol level was a little too strong for a cocktail. Nevertheless it was good. Totally had no space for dessert though I wanted to. Definitely a highly recommended place to visit in Asuncion. Also wanted to mention that the staff were friendly and attentive.
