We loved the place great, peaceful atmosphere, nice ambience, friendly and knowledgeable staff, and delicious food. We had some Tiger prawns, beef tartare Bohemia (contains cognac), cream of potato and leek soup, sirloin beef steak, and creme Brulee. It was great! The only minus would be that the spinach which accompanied the steak was too salty. The steak itself was just perfect!

The rumor was that this place was tops. I did not find that exactly. Pretentious, yes. The food was lackluster for the price. Look to the neighboring restaurants for Verandas competition and this place has little to crow about, except the pretentiousness and higher prices. If the pretentious atmosphere is what your going for, then this is the spot. Yes I might eat here again. Second and third chances and all. Otherwise, I'll follow a wandering pallet and keep playing the field. Now if I could just get the servers attention to bring the check. I think 40 minutes after the meal is over is ample time to tabulate the check and deliver it to the diner, don't you?

I like the interior design and atmosphere of the restraunt besides the dishes and service. Our table had a view of garden and was isolated from the other side of the restraunt with a door. It was great to talk without any other noise. For the food, the starters and main dishes (especially goose legs) were delicious. The wine was good quality. Additionally, the chef sent us an extra starter and drink. At the end, there is a delicate show of preparing ice cream with nitrogen. It was quite good experience to be there!

Went for my Birthday on 28th October 2017. Very pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Warm and cosy atmosphere. Food was delicious. My first Kobe steak was not a disappointment.
