Bidrage med feedbackAmazing date night dinner here last night. Made reservations for 630, parked right out front, seated immediately and within minutes were served with a generously sized basket of homemade bread. No butter was served with the bread but olive oil was on the table. It could've used some balsamic vinegar and/ or butter but tbh I could've asked for it and I'm sure it wouldn't have been an issue. This restaurant is lovely, in an older Schenectady home. The music was just the right volume and the service was impeccable. We were checked on often and Rosie is just fantastic. We shared the ricotta fritters, delicious!! I had the linguini vongole, he had chicken parm. The linguine Vongole is in a delicious broth and tons of littleneck clams, cooked perfectly. I had plenty of pasta leftover and reheated it with some minced clams- great second dinner!! Chicken parm and linguine was great as well We had creme brûlée for dessert with fantastic coffee and I can't wait to go back and try other menu items!
Restaurant was very busy when arriving for our reservation at 7:30pm. We were started off with drinks and put in an order for some crab cakes. While waiting for the appetizer we were brought out some freshly baked bread. It was absolutely delicious and went really well with both the butter and Saratoga olive oil! The crab cakes were delicious and had a decent kick to it; great way to start off. As we placed our dinner orders the live band started playing which gave off a very bright and pleasant mood. Overall it was a wonderful experience and I look forward to returning. Prices are fair and service is very prompt.
I liked Stella Pasta Bar Bistro. The food was good and the servers were polite. The only draw back was that the acoustic musician was very loud. Even though we were on the restaurant side, his microphone and amp was too loud. Would have been better if he was unplugged or turned down the volume and play as background. The place is too small for how loud he was. Other than that, will be back.
Caesar salad was very good. Pasta and veal were very disappointing. Too bad for a place that is suppose to be a pasta bar
It was good. We went for our First-date-aversary this year. We like to go to nicer places for our celebrations and thought this looked good. I wish that the staff wasn't dressed so casually, but I guess that's up to the owner's. I enjoyed a pasta dish. It was large enough that I had leftovers that Husband took to work the next day and he really enjoyed it too. Husband ordered the Chicken Marsala and liked it. I appreciated the host giving us some of the background of the building and the business and sharing some of their future plans. We will be back and I hope to be able to bring my review up to 5 stars the next time.
