I gave only 5 stars to see my bad rating. we checked the website for hours because we would never go unless there was a lot of time. we know how it works. says up to 10 o'clock. he was there at 8:45 a.m. and awakened 10 minutes for a seat. how we set ourselves the server says: “I put the last order, do you know what they want?” he says we're closing at 21 o'clock. we didn't say thanks and stood up. when we left, we told the hostess that if they were to end, they could say something. this poor girl looked shocked and said they close at 10 o'clock. I loved red robins before it closed in alberta, but I guess they don't want to be open here either.
I liked red robin already. a good place to have a bite, enjoy some drinks and hang them out and watch them a game. Unfortunately, this situation is in the last years downhill. the personal is pleasant, but painfully underoccupied or inexperienced. the good, the food was decent. burgers are quite good, would give them a 4/5 for taste. hostess and server were friendly and nice. the bad thing when we were sitting was a two sitting, which is good. the hostess recognized after we had mentioned so that they cleaned it up and wiped it table. the floors and the restaurant are in very bad condition. the carpet is thread-shaped, sticky and dirty. the service was slow, had to wait 15 minutes to order a drink. in the meantime the washroom has checked. when I pushed the door, a thick layer of grim was on the door as if it hadn't been wiped long. that's really rough. the remaining room had paper towels everywhere and was generally not very clean. the tables were also not cleaned by plates, cups etc. no beverage refills or additional serviettes offered. No one checked whether the meal was suitable or whether we had problems. in general it was a bad experience. I would have rated it 1 star, but the server was nice and it looked like they tried. the kitchen was muded as there were tons of orders. perhaps it lacked experience.
I had an issue with my order at this restaurant, but when we brought it to the attention of our server, they were very apologetic. The chef even came to our table to apologize as well. The staff handled the situation really well. Our server was also great with my children. Despite the challenges of COVID, they were very social and honest. The food was good and our drinks were refilled promptly. Overall, a positive experience.
I was immediately disappointed with this restaurant. It took 15 minutes to receive service, and when the server finally arrived, the attitude was terrible. The appetizers were overcooked and cold, and the table was dirty. The main dishes took a long time to arrive and when they did, they were also cold. I decided to leave.
The food and service was excellent, but when we left, lobby was crowed with people waiting for tables. This is not acceptable during COVID-19 on August 8 at 7 pm
