Portobello Burnaby

Great place for some good homemade Italian food. The ambiance was wonderful and service was impeccable. It was nice to see the husband and wife owners there too: husband in kitchen ans chef and wife hosting and providing extra treats and showcasing her homemade desserts. We will definitely be going back again!

Service was great and totally enjoyed my meal , Food was nice and hot when they served us , Great experience overall , my only negative is is that everything comes out so quick that it would be nice to slow it down so you can enjoy the night out , seems a little eat , drink leave .

Food and ambience was good. These days, with the shortage of help, the service was quite slow to start as it appeared the server had too many tables to help. However as the meal progressed, service was fine. This is a nice restaurant and we were seated in a smaller area where the noise level was moderate. So all in all, a good experience.

My husband and I took my 85 year old Mom for Sunday dinner. We all chose the dinner special and were delighted with our selection. We were able to comfortably enjoy conversation over a delicious, well-paced meal.

We were welcomed by Rosa upon arrival and looked after by David and Jose. Very courteous and professional service. The food was served piping hot and was very authentic and delicious.
