Bidrage med feedbackWow! I have been looking for a long time for a restaurant that serves Mee Goreng as delicious as the ones I had in Singapore.
My family of four came to dine at the restaurant over the weekend.
Certainly an authentic SE Asian food and a great find in Burnaby - bordering New Westminster and worth the hour drive as I live 100 km away! With four people in our party for dinner, we looked at the extensive menu on the blackboard. We ordered the following as to share some of the individual dishes:Kampung style Char Kway Teow; Mee Siam; Soto Ayam; Roti Prata; Sayur Lemak;Laksa with Vermicelli noodles ; Rendang Beef.If you are in a hurry, sorry to say service/food is slow - good thing it wasn't crowded but once the food came, we forgot all about the negatives. everything was great: just enough spices and the degree of spiciness was not overpowering but in essence, you can still taste the greatness of the food!We certainly enjoyed the food although if you are a big eater, you better order more than one dish! It was perfect for us and managed not to waste the food we had ordered.Hopefully, the next visit, the service can be improved and the food to be served a bit faster. Overall, we were satisfied with the dishes!
I tried the chicken biryani and tea tarik at this restaurant and found them to be delicious and authentic. The presentation was simple and rustic, which I appreciated. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual, perfect for a quick meal. I came for the food and was pleasantly surprised by the reasonable prices. I highly recommend this place.
I went there for lunch with friends today after finding out they open at 11.30am. When we arrived at 11.45am, the doors were shut and there were no lights on in the place. However, a note o nthe door said they were not opened on the first day of EID, a Muslim observation, but gave no date as to when that day was. That is no way to run a business, not opening when you indicate you are. I will not return..
