Helen J. is a total idiot. This place is a local institution and yes, he cries people in a loving way you nimrod, it is part of the show. The food is excellent and the Walleye is the best. In fact, the Walleye is so good that I refused to escape this perfection with tartaric acid sauce. A local store with a great menu. Cook home well. Thank you for your kindness and service while I visited!

Food was excellent! I had the chicken salad sandwich and the rhubarb pie. Everything was homemade!

I've literally only ever had their fish fry... And I've been doing that pretty regularly for over 10 years. Great beer battered cod. Friendly staff.
