Zack's - Burlington

It's new property. ... The service was at the top. My daughter, grandfather and I got our food within 5 minutes. Prices are reasonable. The only thing I would criticize constructively would be the chili.... the chili is like 2.5 out of 5... Maybe it's just me.. either I ended my plate and it was good... This is an update to my review ... that was initially not even a week ago, but I would like to add it... if u order hot dog or cheese dog all the way, make sure if u like must u tell them extra bc they fix them so fast and even tho the service is great and food can not be bad the onions hard and mustard skimp... if u order flake so that instead of well drink the refilling

Basic Burger fries joint with decent hot dogs with chili. Nothing to write home. Service was excellent, but the food seems to be precooked, not to order, so it was tasteless, overcooked, only warm.

I'm not going back and that's cheating on me. Zack's is my goal for a hot dog fix, as I was brought there a few strange years ago as a toddler. In this time it was a constant recording of big hot dogs, burgers, frits and entertainment. This extended to any family and friends visiting Burlington and asking where to eat... It was Zack. Sad, I learned the new property and really hoped that nothing would change. I waited a few months to shake things up with the new crew and went to lunch yesterday. Two hot dogs with frits and a well drink... my standard job for decades. The chili has definitely changed with much less depth of taste, the Viennaie was thin and had a snap on the skin that only 't jive with Zack's history. The frits seemed about the same thing that was a comfort, but good frits did not compensate bad, unfavorable hot dogs. Unless I hear from my family and friends... I really don't see a reason to make a trip downtown for a hot dog.

What you see is NOT what you get.... I wanted to check out today since I heard they had the best hot dogs. I must say that I am very disappointed at the moment I arrived. The staff was rude and it seems they didn't want to serve me and ordered other people. So when it was finally time for me to order, I felt the negative mood and got my food and left. When I had eaten my food outside the Pommes had no taste and my hot dogs looked like it was crushed and rolled up. I must say I'm very disappointed at all aspects...

It has been a while since we have been to Zack's Hotdogs, but it is just like we remembered it. Rick greeted us with a smile and some great conversation. He made sure that our food, drinks, and our overall experience was great. This place is a staple and has been around forever. Any and everyone knows about this place and we will continue to go back. Thanks Rick! We will see you soon bro!
